Supremely bad luck, mate. Just don't expect to actually get anything out of SteamGifts and your experience'll be a lot better. Some people just have the luck of the world and win everything they want. Others just blearily stare at the screen and marvel at their massive lack of luck.

If you're the last one, can't do anything but simply buy the games yourselves. Relying on the goodwill of strangers to get a game is chancey anyway.
