Just got scammed...for the first time

What scam?

I will be left alone in the never scammed club in the end.. :-/

I feel your pain. I got scammed back in 2004 (diablo 2 trade) for an expensive item. I've done everything I can to avoid the possibility of getting scammed since then. Although if one has 200+ rep I tend to trust them, to go first if needed.

I got scammed on my very first trade, so, basically, just hang in there.

Either you get smarter, or, if this stuff continues, it basically means, quit trading in general.

Set a few rules for yourself.

Check your partner, if he is what he says he is.

NEVER go first on keys, good traders hand them out first usually.

Be wary of any links, or people telling you their admin of this and that.

Sorry to hear that. Scammers suck, and nobody deserves to get scammed. Full stop.

There was a good "trading for dummies" thread on here some time ago with plenty of useful tips for trading greenhorns. Might be worth searching out for future reference :)

Earn more money spend on the things you want.let go of Trades.

Recently I'm getting spammed with random invites from people with lvl 0 Steam accounts and private profiles. Some even post links on my profile to a random image.

Needless to say, the banhammer has fallen.

I feel sorry for you but i never blame the scammer. Next time open your eyes.
