[over] Quick Beat Hazard key puzzle

Yesterday I was very pleasantly surprised to find I'd won a Magicka giveaway (thanks themaxxer!). I'd like to pass that good feeling on to someone else! Unfortunately, all I've got to offer at the moment is an extra Beat Hazard key, but it's the thought that counts, right? ;) It's been in a couple bundles at this point so most people probably have it, but if for some reason you don't, it's a really fantastic twin-stick shooter that responds to whatever music you feed into it.

In the spirit of a musical game in which you pilot a space ship, I present the following one question puzzle:

42 is my favorite number for three reasons. The first two are Jackie Robinson and Mariano Rivera. I'm not going to mention the third, which probably means it's relevant to the question.
