Which Stronghold game is the best?

Stronghold:Crusader for sure, the best in game mechanics and awesome gameplay.

I'm interested as well. I played the original Stronghold game and loved it. Any thoughts on 2nd and 3rd?

Crusader is the best, 2 is good and stay away from 3.

I'll just repeat what the above people said: Stronghold: Crusader is the best. The original Stronghold is also good.

Start with simply "Stronghold". Then go to "Stronghold Crusader". Then consider getting "Stronghold Crusader II", although I haven't tried it yet. (Then go back into "Stronghold Crusader", of course).

stronghold legends is quiet easy to play for begin and it has a good graphic...stronghold 2 is already a little bit difficult...

Kingdoms. If you pick a House w/o dumb***es who pay 150 Euros a month in order to get a village done in 2h, then you'll have the best MMO experience you can get.

I have crusader and legends too but imo, they are not worthy of Kingdoms.

Stronghold Crusader (HD) is the best of the series.
