The discovery queue can now be customised to exclude Early Access, software, and unreleased products, and to exclude particular tags.
The graphs on the hardware survey page no longer require Flash.

So, how many tags did it take you? (excluding software) Eight tags for me.

  1. Action
  2. Casual
  3. Free to Play
  4. Indie
  5. Movie
  6. Multiplayer
  7. Simulation
  8. Tutorial

Initially, I was thinking of 10. Anime and Visual Novel (I guess those two overlaps with casual?)
Movie and Tutorial tags are needed because you can't exclude video content.
Can it go below 8 tags? (Results may differ because of region locking or insufficient tagging)
edit: if you asked "hey, where's [genre]?" It's on Indie. That Indie tag...
edit2: I guess it depends on how many you've marked as Not Interested. I had 6.6k marked.

I don't know about that guy, but I'm in about the same boat. Right now I can only go back 2-3 pages and I have 1436 titles marked to not show up total

I have over 9500 titles viewed and still get a new full discovery queue every time.

Excluded tags cap at 12. So I'll keep using the userscript that marks them uninterested automatically as my list has 32 tags on it. Put up these 12 though:
Survival
Sports
Dating Sim
FPS
Software
Dungeon Crawler
4X
MOBA
Zombies
Massively Multiplayer
Racing
Movie

I see. Maybe my queue is already skewed. I already had 6k+ marked as not interested.

I'm over 6700, but I'm fairly sure that if they will make cards drop by doing the queue again, I can mark 30/day uninterested again and still have tons of left after the sale event. Dozens of new titles are added weekly, so the amount of crap is just getting larger.

It is when you arrange all Discovery channels to be right next to each other on the television.

I miss the old discovery channel... the one that showed scientific documentaries. Now it's just another reality tv channel

Haha, yeah, I'm just curious how many games could be excluded with 12 tags.

I exclude everything because I don't acknowledge that the discovery que exists

The only reason i ever used the Discovery que was the last sale that forced me to do so to get the trading cards .

Also Anime and VN Games have nothing to overlap with Casual games to be fair :)
Visual novels aside , solid portion of the anime games are Either fighting games or Some sort of JRPG , there is nothing casual bout them .

Yeah, indeed. It's just my shallow observation that some older VN games have casual tag on them.

So many tags I don't like. Still not emptying my queue though.
