Is Goat Simulator really worth $10?

I didn't play it, but personally I don't think it's worth buying.

It's fun for 1 hour.

They're releasing a free new map and I'd say the workshop makes it worth it.
That said, I don't have it XD.

I'm sure that with that 10$ you can buy something better.I dont know what,but i'm 100% sure that there is something wort buying.

3-4? No, save it for better quality releases that offer a much more meaningful experience or replayability.

5-9? Maybe, are you okay with the notion of playing it for about a day and forever not having the 'feel' to touch it again?

10+ If you don't have any other old games you wish to collect, I guess Goat Simulator may be worth buying for you to kill some time off.

It may be a parody of other simulator games and has loads of references in it, but at the end of the day, it is not a really worthwhile nor good performing game.

If you're trying to figure out how many hours of entertainment per dollar you're going to get out of the game, Goat Simulator is not for you. If just looking at the poster for Goat Simulator makes you smile, then Goat Simulator is the game for you.

It's a novelty game, half the reason to buy it is just so you can say you own a game called Goat Simulator.

If you like jokes, yes, it worth buying. It's a funny and fast joke...

When I saw the trailer I laughed and thought this was a pretty funny Internet joke. But later I realized that it wasn't meant to be a joke, someone really made this game. Unless you are extremely simple-minded I can't imagine how someone could enjoy the same joke (buggy looking goat doing totally weird stuff...looollzz!1!!1!11=) for hours on end. Watch the trailer and have a good laugh, but don't spend any money on the actual game. Just my opinion. And I agree with the review of Total Biscuit, would be a good idea to watch it (at least partially like I did) imo.

The game will get boring really fast, wait for sale or just watch a 10 minute video on Youtube and it will be enough of that game.

I enjoyed it for a few hours. Got all but one achievement and haven't really touched it since. I did win it here, and I was planning on buying it as a novelty game for smoke sessions. If you are looking for something silly to play for a few hours I would say get it, but you will probably be able to get it soon in a bundle.

I got 4 hours of enjoyment (gradually decreasing) from it, I laughed the first 15-30 min, not sure if it's worth it tho'

Buy it on sale, and make sure the community created content is decent before you buy it.

I bought it on the website before the official release, and I kind of regret it.

You can get a better experience for other games in 10$.
It is only worth 10$ if you have cousins who like mindless sandbox games. They even prefer goat simulator vs minecraft or scribblenauts.

It was worth it about 2 weeks ago, due to Playfire rewards.

I bought it for $9.99 and got almost $18.00 in Playfire rewards with only 3.5 hours of achievement hunting.

Best $10 I've spent on Steam in a while. Hilarious. Cheaper than a movie ticket and far more fun.
