Hopefully it stays in our Humble library forever and doesn't expire. This one doesn't say anything about expiring.

Recaptcha is being dumb again. I didn't get locked out this time like I did last week, but I did it correct every time and it failed me like 8 or 10 times before it finally worked. It went into its slow mode again where every picture takes 10 or 15 seconds to load.

What is going on with HB, I had to answer like 10 captchas and then they don't even give me the game...

I don't think it's Humble, recaptcha is just really broken. Not sure why you didn't get the game though.

Got the game after I waited a couple of mins and two more tries, maybe it just didn't register or it timed out or so. I thought maybe HB put more of those anti-bot measures in place as a result of the problems with the past giveaways.

I think so, sometimes it's not 100% clear what exactly they define as a storefront, or what tiles show certain objects when only a corner of the object reaches into that tile etc. so I'm sure I make mistakes sometimes. :D I got the game now though.

I didn't get any captcha, but I was already signed into the Humble site and already subscribed to their newsletter (required to download) when I accepted the offer. So I bet doing those two things can mitigate or prevent getting captcha on their site.

It's a direct download install, not Steam or Epic.

Steam is WAY more convenient. I have hundreds of games and own quite a few DRM free ones as well, but I never remember which ones or where and when I sit down at a fresh install of a new computer steam gets installed but all those DRM free games... not so much.
Having all your eggs in one basket might be risk and some may not like some aspects of steam, but it sure as hell is convenient!
Should also note that a significant portion of the games I own on steam are DRM free - steam is not a DRM but they have a DRM that games can (and often do) include. DRM free steam games can be accessed, installed and played through the steam platform just like any other - but can also be played directly from the install folder without steam running.

Ahh TIL about the HB library, never bothered to check 😅
Anyway I did a double check and no expiration dates etc, saw older DRM free games I've claimed in the past. Can also still access those downloadlinks through the email I got after claiming them so to be sure maybe keep the email?

I'm a Monthly subscriber and can claim it just fine
