If I'm not wrong, there's only Americas, Europe and Asia server to choose from. I'm not sure if the game can be cross-played?

Well I played the hell out of it for the first 2 months of launch, then I stopped since I wasn't getting enough sleep, after that I kept playing with friends from now and then and stopped playing around the time Cho Gall was released. I came back for the All Heroes Free weekend for the end of the season and a day that I got hyped for the Starcraft maps.
Last night I played with some friends 3 QM and tried 1 Brawl by myself. I got rekt in all of them, I guess the matchmaking is still buggy which was also one of the main reasons I decided to quit. I will add you tonight :]
PS: I think my battlenet is hotbullet8#1942, lol just noticed yours is the same! I will confirm this at night too hehe

After deciding to stop playing Dota for good, I honestly thought of never touching a MOBA again since it took a significant portion of my free time ( and I wasn't even that good in it =.='). Tried HotS because you know, StarCraft, Diablo characters having a brawl at each other seems awesome but then, NOOOO MOBAAAAA, and I stopped playing. It's a stupid reason I know. However, a Legendary Genji skin is insane enough to be passed up :D

Yea, also don't sweat it, 2-4 games a day will take you around 40min to 2h tops. And with the new Brawl even less time (but it's quite hit or miss since it's solely focused on an erratic team fight were coordination is key), you'll get 15 games in no time, a week or less!

Yeah, hopefully. One thing I like about HotS compared to Dota is how much simpler and shorter the game is. I'm in no rush too since there's like a month plus left and exams. Anyways, if for some reason I have a changed of heart or something, I just might go for the 30 match bonus (probably not :p)!

Should be around 15-20 mins for a normal game. 5 if you wanna farm like a pro (fight againts easy AI as djsupcz said above). The skin is crazy good right? I just had to get it eventhough I sucked at playing Genji lol

I prefer Pharah as offensive, but might try Genji if I get this sick skin, and if it's valid for fighting bots that's even better! Count me in, whoever wants to play it. :D

Nah, it's waaay shorter than Lol or Dota. That's what makes it more bearable to do lol Don't worry, just hit me up when you're available and we'll get a few matches going and hopefully we'll reach 15 matches before the end of November.
My aiming's kinda bad so I prefer to play Support (Lucio) or Tank (Reinhardt) but who knows, maybe Mystery Heroes mode will shuffle me to Genji and it'll be awesome (for a minute or two before I die T_T)!

I train headshots as sniper now and then, I don't quite succeed but the training is enough to headshot someone as Bastion. xD
I didn't have time to try the Mystery Hero stuff, the game choses a ramdon hero for you each time you die, is that ir?

Yeap, all heroes random at spawn, even the starting ones. You should try checking out the Arcade mode. They offer 3 Loot boxes each week for every 3 games won. It's pretty sweet! There's even a first time win loot box reward for 1v1 and 3v3 modes.

Btw, if you don't wanna sweat on the new game modes for the loot box reward, just play No Limit mode which is basically the same Quick Play mode before the latest update. Normal games with loot box reward after some wins? YES!

Hey, guys.
Since there wasn't a thread yet, I thought I'd bring this up. Blizzard is currently doing a Nexus Challenge event for Heroes of the Storm and it's basically just play the game for 15 and 30 matches WITH a friend to unlock cool stuff. Cool stuff here meaning the reward for Overwatch's Oni Genji skin (which is why the main reason I'm downloading HotS right now..), unlockable after playing 15 matches! You can play more (30 matches) to unlock 5 more in-game heroes, a mount and a 30-day Stimpak(?). The offer lasts until the 4th of January next year.

While I'm at it, I'm looking for some players in the Europe server to play with since the challenge only counts when playing with one or more friends. Drop your tag if you're interested and we'll play a few matches every now and then. I'll probably suck though and I apologize in advance T_T

Here comes another round of Nexus Challenge 2.0! They change it up a bit from last time so you can take a look of everything they change right here. Basically it's 5 games perweek for the next 4 weeks. Each weeks gave out different rewards and make sure to check what's acceptable for the respective week (for example, there's vs AI in the first but not in the next). Happy grinding folks! As before, my battle tag is up there if you're interested.
I'll be playing is the Asia server now since I went back to Malaysia for good early this year and it seems that the update hasn't rolled out for us yet. Those playing in Europe and America servers shouldn't have any problem.
