It's fine. I can wait. I still have a ton of backlog to tide me over plus it would be closer to when I upgrade my PC.

I'd rather have devs take their time than rushing out an unfinished product.
Or as Blizzard used to say:
Release date: When it's done

Honestly like I am with any and all delays, I don't really mind this (though I'll admit--that Dune one kinda sucked).
This could be because I don't preorder stuff right now, but really, I just want the best possible game and the best possible experience for myself. And I can very easily wait for that if it means I'll get a better one. You can only play through and experience a game for the first time once, right?
I guess part of me hopes that CD Projekt Red will learn how to be a bit more... conservavtive/careful with their release dates and plans now though, after having to revise their schedule so many times. Buuuut at the same time,--I guess circumstances right now with Coronavirus AND dealing with the old and new gen crossover (+Stadia...) are a bit... exceptional.

I completely forgot there's another Dune movie coming out. I recently watched the 3 hour TV version and was pleasantly surprised.
I tried to watch it before but always gave up because I assumed the whole movie was just animated stills with voice over. (because the first 15 minutes are) I didn't realize it was actually a recut of David Lynch's movie even with some additional life action scenes.
I liked how much more information from the books they give you in the voice over sequences like more detail how space travel works in the Dune universe or about the political situation.

Blame coronavirus. Not even the game can go out....

It's better to announcing now than on the last week, hoping it'll really meet everybody expectation abouy this game

You mean for the current console generation or what?
But yeah... that's the reason I'll wait for the PS5 version. And since I don't wanna have the first model of the PS5 but rather the 1.1 or whatever you call it; Cyberpunk price should have dropped quite a bit by then... maybe there will even be a Complete Edition already.

I figured when it was delayed last time it would happen again. I honestly don't think it's going to launch on December 10th either. I think it will be more towards Christmas or early Q1 of 2021.

I'd rather games get delayed until they're actually finished rather than being shoveled out regardless of how bug, glitch, and error filled they are like so many "AAA" games at launch, then needing patches that add up to be bigger than the game itself over the following months.

It reeks of No Man's Sky. Unrealistic hype, cut features, and delays.

Yea, I loved it even on release. I'm so glad they stuck with it.

It really doesn't. NMS was made by a relatively unexperienced company that never made anything like that before. Cyberpunk is from the guys that made Witcher 3, which is the same kind of genre and pretty much considered a masterpiece. Delays are a good thing. It means they might actually release a polished product rather than putting it on the market unfinished, like so many games nowadays. Sadly so many people interpret delays as a sign of a "complete mess", which in most cases they really aren't.

You have to admit that a delay this close to release is worrying. Something had to have gone wrong. Every store in the country had advertisements out with a November release date.
Also, No Mans Sky was a perfectly polished product, but it lacked features that some were expecting. I'm guessing that 2077 will be in a similar situation. There is too much hype for everyone to be happy.

I think my comment held up pretty well. I'm looking forward to what the dev team has planned for the future.
