Hi, I created a little puzzle with a little giveaway so you might want to enter if you feel like it :). It's an easy quiz to test your knowledge or googling. It's also the first time i ever used itstoohard to create a puzzle so i hope it works fine.

Since some of you found certain questions confusing here's some more hints.
Answer to question 4 is common name of the event with roman numerals. Even wikipedia article about it uses it.
The hint to question 6 is actually part of the answer so don't type just the missing part in and the dash is also part of the name.

stuck at 4# .. it's obvious but I cannot find the right format to get it correct

And I can't get the Q6 correct, though I'm pretty sure I know the answer.

Same here, stuck at #6. We must be missing something.

EDIT: Oh, got it. Just type the whole name of the painting, not the missing part.

Perhaps. But the correct one is in fact the one the painting is most famous for.

What are you talking about? If you changed a symbol, the answer could be right or wrong, when it should have included both options.

What symbol? Just look at the hint beneath the pic and type in the full name of the painting. Presto.

Though Q4 is a bit iffy with the format :/

And I think Q11 is spelled wrong.

You really should have included more formats for Q4 as answers. We're basically having to brute force the way you like to spell it.

Figured out 5. But Q4 is still unsolvable for me, and I ran out of possible ways to spell that war.

Are you sure you tried all of them? While there are several ways to spell it, I'd say this is a relatively common way to do it.

Bump for solved, some nice easier quizzes finally :)

Still, the hint on Q7 left me truly confused, i needed to recheck my art history book to be sure of the answer. Can you tell me what sources you have for that claim?

That one confused me a bit, too. Just write in the whole name of the painting, not just the "missing" part.

The easiest puzzle I've ever done! I guess all those History classes I took last term really helped, seeing as I recognized a lot of the paintings!
