Super Street Fighter 4 is a much better game in my opinion, at least on the consoles. My second favorite Street Fighter game.

Both are good games. If you really enjoy Street Fighter games, I'd say it's worth having both. I wouldn't bother with the DLC though.

Tekken sucks, so you might want to give priority to SSF IV, the best iteration in the series with SFA3 (in my opinion, though SF3 is good too).

street fighter 4 ae is alot better balanced in my opinion, the fighting mechanics and roster are more solid too. It is pretty much the goto sf game at the moment.

street fighter x tekken is alright and is a better party game but isnt taken too seriously by hardcore sf fans because of all of the problems with the timer running out too quickly,pandora being useless, op characters, exploits and glitches, it should improve with the huge patch capcom is dropping next month though.

but obviously you aren't a hc street fighter fan so you might not care about alot of that stuff, sf4 ae might seem like a downgrade to you at first because it appears to be less flashy but I find it more enjoyable and better all around.

sf4 ae have slower battles, sf x tekken is funnier in my opinion
in both games you will get raped if you face a guy who masters 1 character, so both games are balanced xD

the bad things: sf4ae is full of '''pros'', for example, yesterday I tried to play some ranked matches with people with supposed ''same skill'' as me, and I got raped trying to play with my character (ranks D/C) vs people with a lot more points than me and rank A in almost all characters

and sf x tekken have a very crappy online system
you will get lag even with your neighbor, seriously, it's a crap, somedays is almost impossible to play a nice online match, because the lag, and the worst thing is that I know that the lag is not mine or of the rival, is the stupid and sexy games for windows live.

is sf4ae worth it?, fuck yes, of course is worht it, the game is awesome
but your ass will be bleeding in almost all online matches xD

Where should I download the SFIV AE I got my key but not the official client to download it :( that suckks a lot...
