How many is good ?
Right now I have 104. I don't really have a limit but considering I mostly add people from the forum and I've been rather inactive around it lately, it's been growing really slow.
As for how many is a good amount, it depends on your criteria, really. What you give away, how many entrants you want to have (bundled games will have less than good non-bundled ones, naturally) and so on.

I have never had a number in mind. It just is what it is. No number is too big or too small. Currently I have 122.

I have none, but thats because I never create whitelisted GAs. :)
If I did I wouldnt care about the number. I would whitelist every user that have done something worthy or special to me or the SG community.

I occasionally do public giveaways, where I give people a task, e.g. post a joke, continue a chain story, link an imagine of something green fluffy, stuff like that. Those who play along have a high chance of getting whitelisted, regardless of level or ratio. This site has a huge bot issue, with many people just using auto entry scripts and such, so I think when someone plays along and shows me they read the description, they kinda deserve to be whitelisted, no matter how much they've given away themselves. My whitelist currently stands at 188. Depending on what giveaways you create that's plenty or not even near enough ... usually I get a lot of entries with unique non-bundled games while it may be hard to do a whitelist giveaway for a DLC.

56 currently. I try to only add people who I see being a positive influence to steamgifts on the whole.

So few that I dont even know where to check how many it is.

30 atm
I will not start "I am building whitelist" thread. It grows slowly with ppl that I want to add :)
and from time to time I am actually doing GAs for them (what's the point of whitelisting people when you're not offering them anything to win :P)
but with 30 ppl I am not creating whitelist-only GAs - high risk of too low entry count
