Won't buy it, won't sell the cards, but the least i'll do is get a badge from it, at least there's a hope for a Summer Sale Foil card one could hope for if lucky^^

Buying cards and selling them is identical in effect.. the only way to curb their exploiting is to convert to gems (and I don't think the games're worth befouling your account just for that). :X

They earn at both, not that i plan to do either with the cards. Don't know if they earn nothing at gems, but at least it doesn't look like it for now.

This is why I don't buy any games from them. They will eventually be free.

Sounds really creepy.

Very few of them are at this point, it's hard to stop them when they are spitting out atleast 1 game a day at average on Greenlight, just 4 today! :)
Dunno how their latest 5 games went through, they go under "Digital Homicide Studios LLC" instead...

Valve seem to have removed the flags. Either that, or they're just re-uploading the games to clear the flag.
And wow, their latest batch looks bad. I made better looking games in The Games Factory when I was 12 (space invaders clones was some of the easiest games to make in that, so I made a handful).
Comment has been collapsed.
Some are still flagged, but as you say... They can simply just delete it and reupload to have it removed.. :|
Hahha, did you ever see a batch that looked good?!
I doubt they make anything themself, it's probably just free assets put together if even that much. :D

Some of their games that I remember were flagged previously, and that I voted "not interested" on seem to have had their flag removed. My vote is still there.
And no, they've all looked terrible, but this is a new low even for them. It's just the same crappy space invaders clone, but with different sprites. All of them are.

Really? Okaaay then... That's even more frustrating knowing that Steam actually had a look & decided to not flag them afterall in the end...
Haha loool, yeah.. Even their clicker game "Clickerton Gang" is looking so bad it's just saddening to see.. Everyone at that studio seem to have a veeery slow learning curve regarding how to improve at making games : /

Clickerton gang, that's one of the games that they claimed was by another company when they hosted one of their earliest giveaways here. Guess that was just another one of their sockpuppets.
I think they've realized that they can't make good games, so now they're just making money from card sales. Each game should take less than 1h to make if they just use a template, so the payoff compared to how much work they need to put into the games is still relatively good, even if they don't make much from each individual game.

Must be more work behind getting the shit out on the store, Greenlight okaay.. They can just upload tons of copied games, but they need some dozens of accounts to upvote it etc.. If that's not done by bots, which is the most likely.. -_-
I mean personally, if I made some bad games but still managed to have them released id probably take the opportunity and learn from my misstakes and doing the better out of it, rather than shooting myself in the foot.. But as you say... Appereantly they are doing something right that benefits them in some way as they continue the same road.

They just need to bribe people with free games (which in turn will generate more card sales), and they'll vote for their latest wave of crap, like they're doing here. Valve probably does not look at downvotes for games, only upvotes, as upvotes means potential sales. DigiHom also has a greenlight bundle with 40 games in it, and games in greenlight bundles do tend to generate extra upvotes, as people want that +1 for their steam account (and cards, of course).

It's complicated, never got a grip out of it.. It's a mix of upvotes, downvotes, how many times the page been watched etc that in the end will decide if the game will reach the store or not.
There are no sales of their games as they all goes as freebies and even if Valve gets a cut from each code activated that would be such a little sum that someone should be ready to open up their pocket to bribe Valve on their own.
I mean everything on Greenlight talks against them..
How many votes does a game need to get selected?
The specific number of votes doesn't matter as much as relative interest in a game compared with other games in Steam Greenlight—we need customers to help us prioritize which games they want to see made available on Steam.
We're going to be reaching out to developers as we see their games getting traction regardless of whether they have achieved a specific number of votes or are sitting 1st or 2nd place at any given time. We are most interested in finding the games that people want, not requiring them to hit a specific number of votes.
Can I give away copies of my game in exchange for votes?
We don't think that giving away copies of your game in exchange for votes accurately reflects genuine customer interest. That is something we continue to take into account when evaluating titles to be greenlit.

To host a gleam.io is faaar from free. :)

Also where do the upvotes come from do you mean?
None that clicks those links for the keys are most likely using their vote either to up or downvote..

Aah you are thinking of that bundle aswell, I understand what you mean.. I just can't see many buying it, I mean they are not even close to 40 titles total at Steam, so it wouldn't make sense it they managed to get all those in the store.
I just hope they won't and I hope people don't buy it, but what do I know afterall haha :D

Would the current giveaway fall under what you can do with the free version?
Also, Valve has given some conflicting information about how greenlight games are picked, but it might well be due to them changing the system. Hopefully the system will make their spam not pay off.

On the famous Gleam pricing, everybody's fav duck writes:
Hi squatter, the promoter (deduction giveaway) used our free hosting service (original giveaway ghroup) We have a business account upgrade 2 (249 dollar) and we offer them for free to all giveaway groups, ebcause we like to make free game giveaway possible. Since it's good for the community. So he did not losoe any money. But ya. It's still a bad move from the dev.

Hahah ofc our own favourite Duck offer this bussines for free (To any GA Group, how you even qualify as that?) without it benefiting himself in any way what so ever, I won't belive that... It's a nice try from him trying to win some friends tho! :]
Thanks for posting this lol :D

Well, I assume the benefit is that all these GAs must include for example joining the Duckling's Chosen Few. I don't know if it works along the lines of some favour system, or if they want some keys for themselves, obviously. Many things could be possible. I was surprised to see His Highness comment there, much like I was surprised to see the same on some HoI 4 mods I was inspecting.
