I think the above all ready covered it all.
To be clear, steamgifts uses steams api to get prices, and sometimes steams api gives out incorrect values, example: game packs on sale, making the individual games price becoming that packs price.
So if your site uses steams api, it should in fact be exactly like steamgifts, but since this is not the case (like you use your own value spreedsheet/db or something else) your site will be different from steamgifts cv. (at least until the pack sales/error end).
I'll double check mine to be safe.

I use Steamgifts as the source for CV, more precisely the points that a giveaway costs.
That give us a limitation on games that costs more than 100$, since SG limite them to 100P, but apart from that, the calculation should be accurate even when the prices fluctuate due to a bug.

They are not in the Bundle List, so neither the site or the calculator should count them as bundled.

I think the misunderstanding comes from he wording. The "Real" in the calculator doesn't mean what people paid for it, it means how much does it count into Steamgifts for calculating levels.
And for steamgifts they are worth 20P, so they gives 20$ CV to your sent value.

So I just went to SteamGifts when I suddenly saw that my level increased, my giveaways still didn't end yet so that can't be possible
Still can't find the reason why, but it sure gave me a mini heart attack when I saw a number change on my profile
Meanwhile, real CV calculator says I'm still level 6
