That would probably be Batman: The Movie made back in the 60s with Adam West & Burt Ward as Batman & Robin respectively

There seem to be some debate on which one counts as the first Batman movie. The one from 1943 is listed as a single movie on IMDB, but some don't consider it to be a movie, more like a TV-series mashed into a single viewing. Then we have the 1966 batman movie, simply called Batman: The movie. It's not very good (I've seen it).

Of the newer ones, there was the Tim Burton version back around '89, starring Michael Keaton as Batman and Jack Nicholson as Mr J, followed by Batman Returns (just ignore Batman & Robin and Batman Forever) OR you have the Nolan trilogy which started with Batman Begins...

What do you mean by the newer ones? There's the movie from 1989 just called "Batman" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0096895/, and Batman Begins from 2005 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0372784/, both of which were the beginnings of series.

60's movie was pretty good actually if you liked the Adam West era series, otherwise I can see it being not very good. I recently rewatched it.

I seen both of the serialized Batman "movies" (they were shown before featured movies back in the day when they were released). Quite funny to watch (not a comedy, just because of watching them with a modern eye) but a wee bit racist.

I hated the Tim Burton Batmans but I do plan to rewatch them to see if I still hate them.

The modern trilogy isn't too bad but gravel voice Batman I kind of found annoying.

If you're looking for 'newer' ones, Tim Burton's 'Batman' from 1989 may be the one for you. Burton made a sequel 'Batman Returns' in 1992.
