A private giveaway works like a private YouTube video. Anybody with the link can enter. On the gifting side, if I make a private giveaway, rather than putting it in the public directory, I have a link I can share privately. Nothing stops someone from taking that link and putting it in the forum for all to see (and enter) but that's a good way to wind up on blacklists. So don't do that, if you get a private link.
Oh, even if you find a private link, you still need to meet the CV (Contributor Value) barrier to enter. Some of them are set quite high. You can get up to $30 by gifting games that have been in bundles (note the after the game's title when making the giveaway); to get higher, you must give away games that don't have the after. (Also applies to games that have been exploited, like Just Cause, Mafia II, and some others.) In short, the more you spend on giveaways, the more giveaways you can enter.

So I have only been on this site for two weeks and notice some people giveout private giveaways. Just wondering how are those people chosen for those giveaways or how can one enter in them?
Thanks in advance
