Saw another thread about a kickstarter project so i thought i'd throw in one ive backed (1st one actually). Link to the kickstarter page, and also to their Greenlight submission. Shameless promotion? meh, whatever; There is totally no giveaways here, nup, never. If it sounds interesting, do what you will, or not. :) Im just trying to help spread the word before the deadline.

I remember when I shared a kickstarter I liked. Everyone hated on it for being Homestuck.

Now actually on-topic, watched the video of that game, and it looks great but nothing I'd ever pay for.

I'm betting that even though they say this is the "minimum cost" allowed for them to work on and get the game to gold, they'll still be going on the investor circuit. Or investors will come to them after they prove their project being something desired by consumers.

Heck, most kickstarters requesting >100K are just big advertisements for external investors. If it succeeds, great, more investors come their way or a publisher partnership. If it fails, then they'll go back to traditional methods or retry crowd-sourcing after a few months/a year (sometimes on a different platform).

i agree but i do like how some let you buy in game characters (to take on a look/name of your choice) or get into the credit and stuff like this.
