Yeah, #2 is not possible, right?
Each movie was nominated for multiple things, not JUST directing.

its not just from the last award shows its just the most recent film out of all the years which makes it harder

Last time I checked, recent meant RECENT.
As in not from every single year since the Academy Awards have been in existence.

EDIT: Ah. Nevermind, I see what he meant.

Numbers?

Maybe I'm too verbose, but I swear I got them all right but there a lot of obscure reasons why I could have got one wrong.

1) Does this include short films? All have more than one producer company, so you want the ones in common? Do uncredited count? You want only the main ones?

2) Pretty sure I got this one, but I could have missed something if an award for an ACTOR doesn't count towards the FILM.

3) I found nothing official, but I found an obscure fan post in a random forum. Also, it seems to be a trick question (or at least hint).

4) Easy, unless you messed up and use the number in the URL instead of the real number.

5) Same with number 2.

  1. No. Yes. Yes. Yes.
  2. Just one Oscar nomination and it being for best director. Nothing else.
  3. It's on the trivia for The Tree of Life on its imdb page.

Thanks for the reply. I had already solved it by the time I refresh to post my update.
The mistake was on my part. With all the corrections I made (I first looked up Wins not Nominations), I forgot to use the second letter of the second word in number 2. Also, the ambiguity of number 1.

I'm pretty sure about #3 and #4. Tried every letter in the alplabet for #1. So basically I am stuck with the fact that my internet (or the author) is wrong about #2/#5.
