Greetings Streamgifters, I have develop a game for quite sometimes now, and I need some feedback over my gameplay prototype before I continue. I don't have a game name yet, so anyone here may suggests too.

About Prototype
It's about at ~90%, it's playable prototype but only test content, no balance, with bug and crash, also some aspect are not decided yet and some could be change if it's bad.
Used Esenthel Engine.
Graphics are using Engine's stock. (Didn't decide yet)
Also no SFX yet.
Story also not decided.

About the game
It is combination of Action, RPG and few Roguelike elements with session-based gameplay (think PAYDAY, Warcraft 3, MOBA), with random generated world part that connected together in room style, play by alone or co-op multiplayer with AI Mercenary in the mix.

The combat is real time medieval, completed with melee and projectile ranged, with ability and items. Think Skyrim, not Devil May Cry, with ability like Warcraft 3 or MOBA, can move with WSAD or mouse, and move freely while attacking, free-aim ability or use items to damage or support, killing enemy gives in-game EXP.

  • AI Mercenary can be choose up to 6, or co-operatively multiplayer up to 5 and 1 AI Mercenary. (Multiplayer is not available yet)
  • When you're down, someone else can revive you or you can revive yourself with limit life.
  • Inventory is weight based, overweight slow you down and equipment have durability, broken equipment cannot be use until repair, also there's money that can be spent in shop founded in some room.

  • Character Loadouts, including 1 maneuver, 6 abilities, 6 perks and 6 items to start with each run, characters also have lobby level (suggest a better name ), each level allow allocate of attribute to Strength, Dexterity, Intellect or Vitality.
  • Each run awards players with points (lobby money), and lobby exp, you can choose to play another run in subsequently or stop and get reward and reset the run, playing subsequently will be harder but gives bonus points, losing however will lose all bonus points, points can be spent to buy or perhaps unlock something at lobby?

Ahh, unfortunate for not being your liking.
I literally bad about the standard bar, so I'm never be so sure about it's enough or should I added more features, heh.

I think you're overweight by adding items too much, I added free items to inventory, so it's almost overweight by default. ;p
To be sure, once start try check weight at corner right if it's red.
