Oh and there is a clock-tile (as you can see in the gif)

The loop and corscrew might be a bit tricky as it makes the game easier to build if we restrict our tile size to 1x1 size.
But tunnel and jump pad sound awesome, thanks for that!

Then I may have a few more.
[Edit] I see that these have already been suggested by the time I submitted my comment (I should have refreshed the page first). :P

Thx for those name-suggestions, but we already have a name :) ("Can't Drive This")
I guess you read "title" instead of "tile", right? :)
We are searching new tiles for the builder (the right side of the gif) is able to build :)

Oh wow, I had never seen that game before, but in fact, looks a bit similar to ours, although I think our concept is going to a bit more chaotic and focussed on short rounds (which makes it a nice lan game)

The portal tile would be the most funny one of these I guess :)
Going to be technically a bit tricky, we have to check if that fits our current system :)
Can you explain the first tile suggestion please?
Comment has been collapsed.
well, u place this tile and two cars on two diffferent "roads" appear and they start to move in different sides, their "spawn" position on roads is random, as well as their speed so it's sometimes hard to evade,sometimes it's easy and u can't really be used to it.
even the "builder" doesn't know what's RNG tile is but he has to place it to use next one =P

Ahhh now I understand, that's cool, reminds me a bit of frogger, should we maybe let frogs hopping over the street? Better not, we'd be getting rude emails from frog fans then :)

@Spikes: Would the car then get some damage from those? Not sure about that, it would be the first tile where a car gets harmed.
All other tiles don't harm the car, they only destroy it by slowing it down (as you have to be 20 mph fast)
@Icy:
That one's nice!
Comment has been collapsed.
Thanks for that fantastic list!
@Oil: That's a good one, definitely need this
@Minefield: Hmm, I think that destroys a bit the gameplay as we try to make it as fast as possible. If you drive to slow your car is going to explode anyway (you're not allowed to get less than 20 mph)
@Tunnel: That one's great, too
@Loop-the-Loop: Unfortunately that's going to be technically a bit tricky because of our (currently) fixed tile-size. Maybe we should solve this.
@A Building: Nice.
@Glue: Reminds be of a game I played in my childhood, don't know the name any more. But that's a good one, too.
@Flaming: Awesome
@Cannon: Nice!
@Bridge: Could again be a bit tricky because of our 1x1 Size restriction
The one I like most is actually that Flaming jump, that would look awesome in gameplay videos, you could also get additional points if you manage to jump through them.

Oh, forgot to say something: If we integrate a tile idea you bring here first, we'll definitely add you to the credits!

Putting this on a wishlist, seems like something I'd like to look at once it's out. Keep pushing forward :)

Glitch Tile a.k.a. The Lag Tile - Instantly moves the car to a different spot on the tile. Maybe facing in a random direction as well.
Invizitile - Turns the car invisible for X amount of time.
Reversed Controls Tile - Reverses the control scheme; Accelerate decelerates, Turning left turns right etc. etc. etc.

Awesome feedback, thanks a lot!
@Glitch Tile:
Nice, love this one. We could try to visualize bad internet connection by writing an Edge symbol on it, or hmm, building a signal jammer on the tile or so. Hmm, other ideas for visualizing bad internet connectivity? :)
@Invizitile:
Awesome.
@Reverse Controls:
Very cool, too, we could use this image for that:

Spring trap tile - the floor shoots up
Narrow tile - this one is obvious i think :P
Split tile - there's a hole running through the middle of the tile

@Sprint Trap & Narrow: We already got suggestions for those both.
@Split tile: Thats nice, could be funny, thanks! :)

Ok I thought about ideas when I tryed to sleep lol.
A turn around tile, tile that when the car join to the tile he need to rotate 180.
Like: __
.........__ ) (think the first line is like the second line that connect to the half circle.
Player change tile: when the car join to that tile the roles of the players changed (the driver changed to the builder and the builder change to the driver)
The wercking ball: a tile that have 3 wercking balls that moves in a rounds and if ball hit you its just kick you away.
I add a image but ill explain here about the image.
and color is a ball and the arrows is where the ball moves (in rounds).
Breaking tile: A tile that divided to squares, the squares size need to be little bigger than the car and when the car drive on the part the part will destroy after second or two seconds.
Speed tile: a tile that speed the time while the car on the tile (will be harder to build and to drive)
slow tile: a tile that slow the time while the car on the tile (will be easier to build and to drive).
water tile: You can make to the car abillity to swim in the water only when its on this tile. the tile will be a water tile like I said, just water and if you want you can add some walls to make a path (you able to put some fishes or something from the sea and it will be like wall).
thats all for this time ;) hope you will take some idea from it.
I added this to my wishlist because its looks like realy funny game to play with my hysterical friends.

Hey,
@180 degrees tile:
Nice!
@player change tile:
Could be a bit tricky as not compatible with other game modes we are planning (such as one with 4 drivers and one builder) - who should be switched?
@wrecking ball:
There already is a wrecking ball in the game, I think I just forgot to list it in my op.
@speed:
This is similar to our boost time, we've got that one already, too
@slow tile:
This is definitely missing, thanks for the tipp!
@water tile:
We also have a water tile, but it does not affect the physics of the car, it more makes splashes on both screens to make it harder to see where you are driving to :)
Thanks for the long post and the image! :)
Greets!
Ben

Ok Im happy to hear that you got alot of ideas here and for the player change tile, just switch the first driver that join to the tile ;)
Oh and you forget about the breaking tile, the one that his parts break after 1 sec or 2 or how much you want when the car will pass it

The mode from the gif is called "yardage". In that game mode the "forward" distance to the start counts.
If you drive to the right, you do not get any points.
But we're going to integrate other game modes like one where you get points dependant on how many tiles you build in total, independant on how far you get :)
Comment has been collapsed.
Shouldn't the score also depend on the tiles used? Since it looks like some are easier? Or the second player doesn't choose the tiles?
Comment has been collapsed.
Thanks for the tipps! You are playing together and not killing each other.

I had ideas but then realized you need stuff that's stationery that would stay on just one tile, so my elderly driver with the turn signal on weaving between lanes and going slow so that I get really pissed off and spill my coffee trying to go around and I'm late for work tile won't fit.
Comment has been collapsed.
Lol, so sad we can't implement that, would be awesome :)

When I was a child before Steam the best piece of scalextric track was the one where the slots came together in a hourglass sort of shape and to avoid collision one of the racers would have to chicken out and brake. So basically that is my suggestion, and also thank you for the giveaway.
Comment has been collapsed.
Nice, that's a cool idea. The mode where we have 1 track builder and several drivers isn't implemented yet, but it would be a cool way to add a bit more stress :)
Comment has been collapsed.
We've already got a suggestion for that - is a bit tricky because of the technical and gameplay side of that (it has to fit the game modes we are planning in future), but would definitely be fun! I guess we'll rather call them portal tiles as our first game is always compared to portal :)

Hey guys,
we are doing the final steps of our game "Can't Drive This" and are going to release the game in 1-2 months:
http://i.imgur.com/Ky7VYKl.gifv
As we are currently integrating new tiles we'd like to get ideas which tiles you think could be cool.
What tiles we've integrated so far:
We are currently working on a windmill-tile.
Any other suggestions?
