What do you guys think?

Kinda interested in Valley Without Wind and Tidalis, so no trouble getting it for those. Everything else I don't really care about (and is the weekly average just stuck at $5.80 now? It's been that price for BTA since at least most of the Paradox weekly...)

Tidalis is alright. Somewhat unique puzzle game, though it gets really hard after a short while, when level goals become pretty demanding for complex techniques.

The best thing about this bundle is the amazing music by Pablo Vega. In my humble opinion all the games are crap, based on a few minutes in each game:D The only game I don't have is Skyward Collapse.

Humble feels like he's drunk.
Sometimes, he's the overly-awesome guy: buying us all free AAA drinks both with umbrella and without it and then regreting it the next day because it was WAY above his budget (Origin Bundle). And sometimes he brings us home made drinks that are mostly water (Comedy Bundle and Ascen).

At least it's better than the Comedy Bundle.

Considering I already own 5 of the 6 games and to get the one I'm missing would cost more than buying that one game individually on Steam, this is a miss for me. Yes, it has some DLCs and soundtracks, but that's not really enough to make me re-buy a bunch of things I already own.

Exactly what I was going to write down.

Also, $5.80 is not very 'humble'.

same, only missing Skyward Collapse

I bought it. I only need two pieces of DLC from it and I love game soundtracks. So basically I would have bought it just for the music even if I owned everything else.

I'm telling you the music is better than the games

I've BTA the last few humbles just for the soundtracks as I already had the games. PewDeePie, Paradox and this at least.

Same here. I would have loved the other 12 soundtracks that were in the Paradox $125 bundle but I already own all the games and I can't spend that much just for OSTs.

You're all so spoiled.

What about the devs and charities!

What about them? Who is spoiled and on what? You're very confusing.

Why exactly do people compare normal Humble Indie (Weekly) Bundles to the Humble Origin/THQ Bundle. Isn't it rather obvious there's a massive difference in the games being offered? Everyone's like "but Origin was cooler" - well, HB is a platform for Indies mostly. There were exceptions, but I wouldn't set those as standards for all future deals.

By "people" do you mean FrAnubis? You should have replied to his comment instead of calling the rest of us spoiled. He's the only one who complained. You also said something about devs and charities for some reason.

Great. PayPal got the money, HB didn't get confirmation. Bleergh...

at least this one is drm free and....partially cross platform

and I like how they stealthily killed their comment section/forum after all the negative posts about ea(and i suppose some of the still continued complaints of abandoning crossplatform and drm free...but mostly I blame the flood of steam obsessed origin haters and also obama)

A Valley Without Wind is brilliant, haven't played the sequel. The guy on the front cover has a sword that looks like a cross between a lightsaber and the Soul Reaver, is it in the game?

Guess this is what happens when you push "Let's make some game concept tonight!" into few months of development.

A Valley Without Wind is the oddest of the bunch, IMO. Does it even have what you could call art direction? Everything is so disjointed.

It looks like a bad flash game.

Yes, exactly. I haven't played it so I can't comment on gameplay, but the art style is just all over the place.

The $5 tier game is a game that is regularly $5? I'll just wait until it's 75% off on Steam. Got Shattered Haven from another bundle before.

I wonder if some of all the guys that mark this as shit have ever played an arcen game for more than 5 minutes...

But if we played them it would mean we don't need to buy them anymore, either.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I don't want people to buy it, cause, like Hilary said, these games are not for everyone. They have weird concepts, strange mechanics and sometimes experimental gameplay... but call that as shit means you never tried to understand how it works (you in general, i'm not refering you personally).. I think it's far better than many others weekly that we have got recently..

SC is a really cheap game anyways.
I think Ill be going for the non-bta this time.

My thoughts on this is that only the $1 tier is worth your money entirely this time. Sorry high tier, but you're just not worth the value.

A.I. War is at the very top of my strategy game list. It's one of the best ones ever made. A Valley Without Wind 2 is really weird-looking, but a noticeably good game.
