So, I have 5 copies of Humble Introversion Bundle (below average). And I want you all to decide what I should do with it.

Good ol' public giveaway, maybe? Then when would it be convenient for you? Also, together or separate?
Forum ninja feeding? Puzzle giveaway? Maybe something else?

EDIT: The fate is sealed.

[PUZZLE GIVEAWAY HAS ENDED]

49+2-(5+3+19+2+36+3+42+2)

Did you know that 5=4+1

Total number of entries: 1
Guess who won.

Giveaway and solution inside

Hint: I lied. I have 6 copies. Go get your 5 letter key to the VIP lounge.
Hint: The order of letters should not be changed from their original order.
Hint: Yes, they're all letters. And -61 isn't helping you find them.
Hint: Negative numbers have the same absolute value as positive numbers, but are written slightly different, right? Now, what can you assume to be a sort of "negative letter"?
Hint: 5 letters and 10 numbers? That's no coincidence. Also, did you know that "5"=4+1 as well? Go figure.

I want that bundle actually:P

Ninja feeding or public all in one seems best for me.
Puzzling is kinda unfair for people who are bad at english.

You should totally do multiple giveaways - a few in private, maybe 2 in public or something?

Don't 'feed' forum ninjas - I never get it in time!

It's 25. Only people who can't do basic math (younger than 10 years) don't know that.

I thought so too, but you'll find the Internet is filled with people who don't know that, and they're grown adults.

I was trying to find a screenshot of this, and somehow I wandered off to find someone prove 1+1=3 (and right now I'm watching how it's all bogus).

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Well for what it's worth, the equation behind 1+1=3 requires you to state A=B and, later on, (A-B)(A+B)=(A-B)B

The error lies while taking the next step; to prove 1+1=3 you need to simplify and remove (A-B), which gives you A+B=B -> therefore, since A=B, 2xB=B. Ergo, 2=1.

Except that if A=B, then A-B=0. This changes the former step, (A-B)(A+B)=(A-B)xB into 0x(A+B)=0xB. All in all, you'd just prove 0 equals 0.

Public. You can also do another good thing - make some points for others, for that, public giveaways are the only option.

i guess you should do it private and post in the forum... will raise the ppl chances for winning to the ones that at least read the forum (not really active user.. but someone that tries a little)

and what -61 means? lol

-61 is the temperature of my imaginary death ray. IN KELVIN SCALE.

-61 in Kelvin? Maybe that's why it's imaginary. The scale is positive, no -61 allowed ^^

Is the answer a 12 character gift URL?

For example
www.humblebundle.com/gift?key=EDF7Vd3N4DTF
the key consists of 12 random uppercase/lowercase/numbers
I thought I was looking for that.

Nope. It's a 5 letter giveaway key. In case multiple people find the solution.

Do whatever you think will lead to a logical solution. I am going to fix the last hint, it can be misleading.
Edit: Fixed

I'm just wondering; Are they ALL letters? It's probably too big of a hint, but hey... Doesn't hurt to ask. Btw I do enjoy the challenge despite being lost at the moment.

Yes. Also, added as a hint. Not very helpful, actually.

Permalink

What about letter's case? Even if you know the right answer, there are like 32 possible variants.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

a) Only 32. Not so hard to check them all.
b) It is in the puzzle too, by the way.
c) It will be hinted on if there will be no entries.
