You have 1h time to tell me which 3 of the following adventures I have to play next. Please don't reply to someone else post, only do new comments. I won't count replies.

Monkey Island (both 1 & 2) because they are just awesome. Really really so.
The Longest Journey, 'cause it's also brilliant.
Whichever is the first one in the Blackwell Series, I forget.

The Longest Journey hands down, Cognition: An Erica Reed Thriller was pretty decent.. and for some title that hasn't been yelled at you yet: The Night of the Rabbit is very stylish, but not the best story evah.

Ok, here we go:

  1. The Longest Journey (ooold, but great storytelling!)

  2. Syberia (nice story too)

  3. Monkey Island (hard but funny!)

To be frank, out of your huge list, I only played these (well, and Syberia 2 and Monkey Island 2) and the Blackwell games (which are quite nice) -- most others are in my backlog as well.

If you need more to add to your list (as if you did not have enough), I would recommend The Last Express, Full Throttle, Grim Fandango, Indigo Prophecy, all the Amanita stuff... well, chances are, you played a bunch of these already, huh?

Cheers!

P.S.: I am this guy, so let me tell you all this: World of Goo is AWESOME!

So many I haven't yet played either... I feel terrible about that. :(
Of those I have played...
Blackwell Legacy, Blackwell Unbound, The Longest Journey, Monkey Island Special Edition\, Monkey Island 2 Special Edition\, Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse, Syberia, Syberia 2

I'd say Blackwell Legacy (to start the trilogy), Monkey Island, and... Syberia (Make sure you save in Barrockstadt after you get the berries (potential game bug).).

\*played the old version, not special edition

Obviously the Monkey Island games and for the other one i would say: A New Beginning.
Recently played it myself and i have to say, it was pretty good.

I've played several of the games you have:

  • The Book of Unwritten Tales was great.
  • Edna & Harvey was pretty great as well. The first Edna & Harvey game was pretty bad, so the "sequel" was a surprise.
  • Angelica Weaver was pretty meh. Very strict (and bad) puzzles i.e. things that seem logical don't always work like cutting a rope with a piece of broken glass. The story was pretty bad as well. The main character could apparently travel through time, but it was never explained why or how.
  • Monkey Islands are great.
  • Primordia was decent. It suffers from bad puzzle design and some of them are quite unfair. Had to resort to a walkthrough.
  • Sam & Max S3 is pretty good. I prefer the previous seasons and Hit the Road. The episodic games have somewhat related stories so you might want to play the previous seasons first.
  • Wallace & Gromit is pretty good. It's definitely better, if you know and like the characters.

I recommend playing The Book of Unwritten Tales and Monkey Islands before the others.

With ~5-6 exceptions I finished all of these, my opinion:

  1. The Longest Journey (IMO this is the best point&click adventure game EVER created)
  2. Blackwell series (starting with Legacy, they MUST be played in order: legacy -> unbound -> convergence -> deception) Surprisingly good games.
  3. The first two were really easy picks (my favourites), the third one is a lot harder...hmm... let's say Primordia, but I'd really recommend Cognition, Yesterday, the Syberia games and last but not least the Sam&Max games from that list as well.

Hey Toaster, I can recommend Syberia 1 and Syberia 2, both are awesome, old-school adventures. You can play The Longest Journey too, it's same point-click adventures, and the story is awesome. Ok it's 3, but if you want to taste great fun in adventure, go for Monkey Island 1st and then 2nd, these are classics :D

  1. Monkey Island
  2. Monkey Island 2
  3. The Longest Journey

You'd better go through these classics, before playin' new ones, (btw. TLJ is still one of the best EVER) but suit yourself.
