- That thread is not the only place that's constantly being script-farmed, in my experience it seems to be the entire forum.
- Even if it was, OP could have dropped the key in the thread for this specific giveaway like everyone else instead of creating a new thread for a single key.
- The scripts are easy to trick anyway- most people just scramble or encode the key somehow, and include simple instructions that the first human to see it can follow.

Noone is under any obligation to use the orphan keydrop thread [which is a cesspool of misery where keys go to die, in my experience with it >.> ]. There's no need to specially justify not using it.
(And if you glance below, you'll see one benefit of a thread like this.) -
