Seems like COD didn't made me the only one questioning things when it comes to game size. Funnily enough, you can reduce those 4 GB if delete the other languages other than English by around 2 GB .
As to answer your question, could be the relatively small maps? Not so elaborate or diverse skins for the infected? Same for buildings.

i do check size. each and every single time, cause it's unfair make me buy a piece of hardware just to play a "new", "so very modern" game.

Kek, the exploration part is fun from what I remember when I played the game back when it came on xbox. As for the size itself, I might be wrong(one hundred percent I am) but I think its around 10ish square km. But you can get in most buildings so that's nice.

I also cant remember exactly how big it was... for sure not even close to something like Skyrim, but i wouldnt say it was small.
I had 175h fun with the story/map and then also the wave mode, so i cant complain at all!
Easiest way i just to take a look in some gameplay videos.

Actually SoD is not about base building at all. There is just a little bit of base management but not too much/complex.
Basically its about scavenging and killing undead ^^

Hey steamgifts-gang!
Today is my birthday and for this occasion i actually planned to make a train, but as there is already the huge community train, i feel like all rails are busy for the next few weeks and also i dont feel like spending today few hours for it, so i will probably just add few carts in the next few days.
I decided that i will give away today only one game and to enter you have to solve a jigidi with 144 pieces.
Its one of my favorite singleplayer survival games and i hope the winner will enjoy it as much as i did.
