How old were you when you started gaming?
I think I was around 4 or 5. Atari 2600 Master Race!

Damn those save deletes!
I condemn them for heresy and they shall be thrown into the darkest corners of a Hard Drive!

Started gaming on these, parents were poor, so I had to play at a friends house till I could buy my first console, a Snes.
After that I saved for a PSX, and when I compared my C&C Red Alert to my friends copy on pc, I started saving for my own pc...
Thanks for the nice train and Chaaarge (now hear this while doing so)

Bump!
I started gaming when i was about 6-8 when my parents bought me an old Atari 2600, then a NES soon followed and after that came a playstation 1. Following that i bought a PS2 and after that a PC. :3 Never owned any handhelds because i always got finger cramps from those.

Nice! :D
Finger cramps, you say!? :D
I remember once playing some mobile rpg game on my best friends Symbian Nokia... The game was similar to Legend of Grimrock and it had alot of depth even though it was made for mobile. My buddy would come on over to play NFS on my computer since he had no computer of his own, and I had a crap phone, non-smart one, back then :D So he would play here for hours and hours, while I played that game. I think once we must have played our games for about 6 hours atleast... I couldn't move my thumbs from their current position :O

My problem is that my hands are too big and the handhelds too small. Same with my mobile phone, i have so many games installed on it, but i can't game too long on it or my fingers will get cramps. But i'm saving up for either a Modecom Volcano or a Bigben STGONE, one of those should solve my problems. :3

My parents bought our first PC when I was 4 years old in '91; but played with my cousins' NES Atari earlier, who were teens at the time, and I was 2-3 years old. ;)
Our first monitor had amber screen, like on this picture below. I still have it, and it does work, just kills your eyes... :D
edit: I wrote NES first, but I realized, I remembered wrong... :D

Niiiice! :)
It very well may be a beast back then :D (since I don't know when that happened :) )
Yeah, I always found it funny how my first smart phone was somewhat similar to my first computer, a Pentium 3 :D 1000MHz and 128 RAM, I think it was, while the computer was 1100 and 256MB :D

well, I suppose it could count, if we take playing on an almost daily basis as the condition for this definition... :)

My dearest fellow Steamgifter,
I am writing you this letter in hope it finds you in good health, well rested and in good mood.
I am grateful for your efforts in saving this and many other realms from utter destruction on a daily basis, stopping the enemy in its advance, battling hordes of monsters infesting this and other worlds, and most importantly – being there for the weak and weary. I know, it never stops. It just goes on and on.
I am also thankful for your other efforts, such as: Extending the hand of friendship here, providing help both on site and in co-op missions which required you to do so, or simply helping out the new faces around here.
Battle on, my dearest friend, battle on…
Yours truly,
InquisitorDruss
