Sold because I realized even though they don't need much care, I'm not even willing to give a little. I'm the type of person who just forgets/avoids responsibility, for multiple reasons like not being home, or having something better to do (the stereotypical "I play videogames and neglect all around me" thing) or just not being in the mood for dealing with them. Now I have my plants, they need watering too, but once a week is about as much as I'm willing to put effort into taking care of someone.

I just like how they behave naturally. Every time I watch a video of them I giggle, also the fact that they hold hands when they're sleeping so they don't drift away from their partner is really sweet no? :b

Among other things. Drugs are mostly coworkers domain, I train them to attack when told and not give a fuck about what is happening around them when not provoked. Then there is pulling people out of windows and a lot of other fun things :)

I used to have a dog but he died of old age some years ago, didn't want any other animals. Nowadays i mostly enjoy watching or playing cats at my friends place.
Also used to have a rabbit for a couple of months until we gave it away to live on a farm. Apparently my mom caught it in the city we live in while she was jogging xD The rabbit even bit my dog in the nose once =( But other than that they didn't have any quarrels.

We called the Rabbit "Bruno" xD My dogs name was "Slash"
It always comes down to the cat, some cats like me and let me snuggle with them and ruffle their fur, but some others i feel like they don't really like me and walk away when i try to =(
But i can still at least play with the latter type when they're in the mood to ^^

I never owned a cat myself. Originally i wanted one but my parents talked me out of it and then we got a dog xD Made me more of a dogperson in retrospect but i wouldn't have it any other way ^^

I just looked it up and remember those critters from FF Tactics Adanced. In all seriousness though, dogs are probably the most rewarding pets one can have. Sure, you have to be willing to invest time, effort and money in them, but they repay you with unending loyalty and affection - even more so than most humans.

First two are curry, who was mine. Third is Rocky who was my mom's and then are Harry and Tigger, our current pets. My brother also has a ferret, but he kinda sucks.

Title says ... "animal lovers", which doesn't necessarily mean domesticated animal.
Also depends on the size and the breed of the dragon
EDIT: also, I find it rather difficult to decide, if for instance a horse, a fish or cat is "better". They're very different.

Had two, first one died in door accident, the door close itself because of wind..
For some reason I can't remember what happened with the second one, but I clearly remember that moment how I cried after I saw first one dying and my mother holding him with bloody hand.
It was 14 years ago when I was around 5, damn feels like it was yesterday, I'm still sad.

Well, I'm animal person in general, so I can't really choose one.

Hi all, I was thinking that I have seen many cat lovers but no animal else, not even dogs and has surprised me, so I wanted to ask if there were more animal lovers in general like me, I have had birds , fish, even a snail xD and I'm thinking about getting a dog, I like husky and golden retriever, and I like wild animals big felines, wolf and eagle.
