Nope, let them make giveaways, let the giveaway end and winner mark as received. AND THEN DELETE THE GIVEAWAY. Win win win.

i see no dead island giveaways right now. Mods are taking all dead island giveaways down. i saw 2 before the raptr giveaway came up.

How can you tell if you have a region locked game to put in a giveaway or if you win a giveaway? Where exactly does it say that on the game page? I mean I buy all my games from the US page and I understand some of them are possibly locked for other countries. I don't want to inadvertently have a winner from another country where its locked. Nor do I want to enter one thats locked for US.

So, yah, how can I be sure?

A Raptr admin said on a forum that there is no region lock. I've heard otherwise, but wouldn't you trust them over all?

Dead Island Region locked issue
We are aware that the codes are currently region locked.
We're reaching out to our partner and working on a solution as it was not the intent for them to be region locked.
Please hang in there, this may take time but it WILL be made better.

There were not infinite numbers of these keys issued. Not all Dead Island keys we'll see will be from Raptr. We already have rules against region locked keys, so no additional measures should be required. It's up to the gifter to provide a region-free key. If they do not, regardless of the reason, deal with the gifter in the way that the rules dictate.

There was a group announcement in SG group. Keys from raptr are forbidden because of region lock and any other DI keys should get mod approval first...still on the exploited list.

More DI giveaways > More banned users > Bigger chance of winning.

It sure would suck to win a free copy of Dead Island. Thanks guys, for sparing me such a cruel fate.
