We have some topics about music but most things from there is in english. Propably people are afraid of putting music with foreign lyrics ;)
I'm always searching for some exotic music or movies and where to ask if not here as we have members from all around the world :)
And let's be honest, english doesn't mean it's the best so don't be shy and show some great tones

My taste is not so mainstream so sorry in advance :p

From Iceland : Sólstafir Ljós í Stormi
From France : Noir Désir Si Rien ne Bouge
From Mexico : Molotov Gimme tha Power

I don't think Fever Ray, The Knife, Ólafur Arnalds, Low Roar, Of monsters and men qualify... but still awesome bands. There must be something in scandinavian countries that eludes me... every songs I've heard and loved recently come from there.
Especially Iceland... when you think this country couldn't be more appealing... it also has great music!

It's a really beautiful song, the lyrics are also quite nice and I don't usually listen to lyrics.

So today I realised that I pretty much only listen to english music or instrumentals ¯\(ツ)
This is the only one in another language I found:
German: Wolke 4

Oh and this is definitly exotic: Love In Damascus
(with a little bit of foreign lyrics)

Anyways, thanks for sharing kasztoix :)
I have to stop now though, before Firefox eats all my RAM for the youtube plugins

Arguably the best non english song in GTA IV = https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8hY3bckMaA another reason GTA IV is better than V, russian/eastern europe radio station.

This is one of my favourite tracks. It's an Irish traditional piece but this version by The Gloaming is one of the best.
It's called 'Samhradh Samhradh' and it's about the beauty of nature in summertime.

This version of 'Sí Do Mhaimeo Í' by Hot House Flowers is lots of fun to listen to. It's about making fun of a fella because the woman he's seeing is so much older than him ("She's your granny" is the title).

I know nothing about its background, but it turns out I also love this Bulgarian track, 'Drumboy' by Elitsa Todorova and Stoyan Yankoulov . I discovered them thanks to Eurovision and I really respect that the Bulgarian entries try to stay close to their roots rather than going full on pop mode. If anyone wants to recommend similar to me I'd be happy!

And finally, 'Adam's Lullaby' by Natacha Atlas is just so so beautiful.
