So, there was a thread where someone said that they didn't like the graphics of Half-Life, and many people agreed. So I wanted to make this thread so that we could PRAISE the wonderful graphics of games like this. I don't know about you, but I would rather play the original than a graphically enhanced update. Heck, I put Day of Defeat on my wishlist instead of Day of Defeat: Source, since Day of Defeat uses the graphics of the Half-Life engine. If you take a look at my library, you will see that I have Half-Life, Half-Life: Opposing Force, Half-Life: Blue Shift, Counter-Strike, and Counter-Strike: Condition Zero, all of which use the Half-Life engine. And on my wishlist are Deathmatch Classic and Day of Defeat, 2 more games that use the Half-Life Engine. So do you guys love games with graphics such as the Half-Life Engine(Which I think were some of the best 3-D graphics of their time. I mean, just look at Triangle-boob Lora Croft), or do you hate them so much that you will spend the extra money just for the updated graphics version?

TL;DR I love games that have crappy 3-D graphics, how about you?

What about Nosferatu: The Wrath of Malachi*? It is 10 years old, but looks much older for me. I'm playing this right now and it scares me so much! There is a cheap graphics effect - you can't see anything that is further than your torch - so it's usual not to see the end of the room in which we are. Imagination starts working and than a monster attacks us from behind, what is provided with great music and sounds. Also the time is limited, because your family is going to be killed by vampire, so not only it is scary, but you have to be fast.

*it's the start of the game, so it doesn't show much

90's graphics? Heroes of Might and Magic III must be talked about (even though it's a 2D game).
I honestly don't mind "crappy" 3D graphics, long as the gameplay is great.

I am actually a graphics whore. I need good graphics to enjoy a game. As an example, Dungeon Defenders has very lovely graphics that fit perfectly to the game. Battlefield 3 has bad graphics since a realistic style with many details doesn't fit to an unrealistic and shallow game. This means, i don't care if the game was released in the 90s or yesterday

A graphics mod is enough to get over the ugly look. Just don't like seeing such blurred images of something unidentifiable.
