Which is better; The Amazing Spiderman 1 or 2?

None of them worth 10$ but if you really like to buy one of them i'd say the first one is better in gameplay.

Both are bad. The second one is ultra bad. :P I think that Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions is better, but that's just my opinion.

Out of the two I think you should get The Amazing Spider-Man 2™. The game-play looks better-but they both kinda SUCK. They have terrible reviews on metacritic.

My elaborated opinion regarding the entire games/movies/cartoons/comics franchise:
While Tobey Maguire looked like the Peter Parker nerd from the original comic books, Andrew Garfield looked like the Peter Parker from the 1990s cartoon. However he is too cringe-worthy and emo. This was the same issue I had with Tobey Maguire from the 3 spider-man films before these two. In my opinion both of these amazing Spider-men movies were terrible because the main enemies (The Lizard, Electro, Green Goblin) were bad too..and Spider-man did not crack any jokes when fighting enemies..he used to do that in the 60s cartoons..the enemy that was good (although dumb) was the Rhino but he's right at the end of 2 and that scene is super short..like they saved it just so people would want another-which is lame. I did like the fact Gwen is in them-made a nice change focusing away from a GINGER Mary Jane (yes red hair is not ginger =massive face-palm to Sony), and there is more stuff to do with who Peter's true parents really are (mostly about his dad). Maybe you should check out Shattered Dimensions, LEGO marvel Super Heroes or LEGO Avengers.

These are way better than the 5 latest movies and recent games:
1)Spider-man the Animated Series (1994-1998). Nothing beats it.
2)Ultimate Spider-Man (2001-2009) comics with Peter Parker are the best up to before Miles Morales. It has great art direction by Bryan Michael Bendis and amazing characters and development.
3)Spider-man and His Amazing Friends (1981-1983) cartoon
4)Spider-man (1967-1970) cartoon
5)The Amazing Spider-Man (comics from 1963-present)

I know we're talking about the game, but I voted the first one since the second movie sucked huge donkey balls. Btw, I'm talking about the most recent two films. If we're talking the original trilogy, 2 > 1 and 3 never happened.

Second one is pretty short, first one is just "meh" at best. Both are bad IMO, old Spider-Man movie games were great.

Spiderman 2 for PS2 LOL.

First one might be better, but it's optimized very poorly. It crashed frequently on the two PCs I played it on. Not sure if 2 has the same issue, never played it.

I would just get Shattered Dimensions.. save yourself the hassle.
