They're going with a more mature Doctor, not sure how this will work in the new series o_0

An old(er) Doctor will be refreshing, I'll be interested how will he work out. (Some ppl think that he'll be a more mature/serious/darker Doctor than the previous ones.)

I think at least strange with so many options to choose an actor who already appeared in two different characters in the franchise (pompeii episode and last torchwood series). BBC and Mofat had so many other options to go... Now let's wait and see how this will work.

I lost track of the series back during the days of David Tennant.............................so I say bring him back!
