Space Pilgrim Episode I: Alpha Centauri is 0.22e on steam and if you idle and sell the cards you are going to get around 0.24e.

:scratches head:

SP:E1 cards are at 7 cents each, and you get 3. Steam/developer cut per card is 2 cents, and you'll likely have to sell at 1 cent below current list price to get reliable sales.
So you're looking at a total of 12 to 15 cents, not 24. :X (At 90% off, SP:E1 is 20 cents USD.)
I'd imagine it'd be less profitable, if anything, for Euro..?

Well, fuck me, I didn't think about that. Yea, you get only 3 cards, not the whole set. Silly me, haha. Well then my whole point goes into water. Thanks for telling me because I would have actually done this without thinking and lose money....:)
PS: Whitelisted because you just saved me some money ^_^
I guess I will delete my comment, because it wont work.

Well badges look like shiet , so i dont think price will rise at all :)

The weebs tho , doesnt rly care about how bad the badge is as long as its anime related , thats why even after being bundled a dozen of times sakura games still sell for 25+ cents a card

You may still be able to get keys for some Digital Homicide things for free.
Those'll drop cards, that company's whole business strategy was based around getting their share of profitz(tm) from the card sales on the community market.

To put it short , Not really ..

IF you buy a game , idle it for the cards and sell the cards right after , you wont get any profit since many ppl buy those cheap games for the cards and that colapse the market value of them .

Trick is to buy some random shit game that got discounted to 15cents for some reason ( that is not getting that discount every other week ofc ) save the cards for abit and then sell them ...

But then again we are talking about 5-10 cents profit if you are lucky here so i dont see it worth at all .

If you manage to get your money back tho its okayish i guess , but its NO way to make some reasonable ammount of money ( where as reasonable i put 5$ ) :)

Some of complete-the-set bundles are worth looking.

eg. Bundle of Bundles

potentially 2 cents for 3 games with cards. (assuming you own none)

last week was " Labyronia Bundle " in same bundle for 3 cents, so they probably rotate. I even bought this for some of my alts.

It's very idiot proof and you won't be able to accidentally make loss. even if you own 2/3 of games.

but only if you own rest of games.

If it's something anyone can buy, it's probably going to crash prices before you get to sell your cards.

I also have a topic and website dedicated to thse.

Yes, all games available for free somewhere (like Indie Gala or gleam mass giveaways) which have cards, are basically free (virtual) money.
Apart from those, there used to be games sold for a few cents on Steam, they were the real deal, until Valve decided to kill this practice by imposing a minimum sale price.
Now, smaller indie publishers try to circumvent this limitation with creative use of the new "bundle" system, although such bundles are still unavailable if they turn out to be "too cheap" (Valve's definition of "cheap" seems to be $0.50).
