Keep seeing it on Imgur, one of the devs keeps posting about it there. Looks interesting, I'll give it that.

I was there about 4 years ago.... and it's not what it used to be... but it is still good.

Checked it out and wishlisted it instantly! It looks pretty great and the roster of musicians you have are pretty spot-on. Question: Mona Mur's contributions... are they her solo or will they/do they include former KMFDM member En Esch, who has been making music with her for the last decade or so.

Lived in Berlin from '92 to '94 - it was a pretty amazing place, at the time. The game looks interesting! Added to my watch list.

UPDATE: Game is on Steam in Early Access and currently 50% off for the next 24 hours as of writing. I played for a bit and so far it's as cool and interesting as their pitch made it out to be, and the devs seem to be still adding to it. Didn't realise this was on sale (or even available on Steam!), so here's a reminder for those who are interested.

I don't know about you, but a game set in an alt-future dystopian 2089 Berlin where the wall never fell and you go around shooting people in tragically stylish clubs in isometric pausable real-time battles set to procedurally generated minimalist techno sounds like just the thing to me.
From the Kickstarter description:
"All Walls Must Fall is an isometric tactics game where actions happen to the pulsing beat of the music. You control time travelling secret agents as they jump and loop through a single night in the city of Berlin. Using a pausable real-time system, carefully plan your decisions and use powerful time manipulation abilities to your advantage, as you carry out your mission in the shadows or in plain sight. Levels are procedurally recombined using a bespoke system developed by inbetweengames, giving All Walls Must Fall a highly replayable campaign structure, while still offering individually crafted components and set-pieces.
All Walls Must Fall takes inspiration from genre classics like X-Com, Syndicate and REZ, as well more recent indie games like The Banner Saga, Braid, SUPERHOT and Crypt of the Necrodancer."
Devs are ex-Yager peeps (Spec Ops: The Line, cancelled Dead Island 2). There's not many hours left on the Kickstarter (a little over a day as of writing) and they've already met their modest initial funding goal but are struggling to reach the stretch goals.
I've only been to Berlin twice but my rose-tinted memories of it are infused with breakfast at 4 pm and trips to Soviet era parks and Helmut Newton adorned museums and bars and getting wasted to (pretty decent) techno music on a Monday night in a crumbling club housed in an ex-communist theatre where red chandeliers hung from the ceiling and a portrait of Lenin on the wall kept watch, before rushing to catch a pre-dawn flight out of that fever dream. Those were good times.
