So I got one of my $20 rebates in today and I figured I might as well give back to this community who has given me at least the opportunity to win. What game (or games) would you like to see?

Seconded Recettear, or perhaps a Binding of Isaac or two (:

Third for Recettear, but that has a good chance of going on sale soon methinks (it did last year during Thanksgiving).

I refuse to buy anything related to that company. They really screwed over android users.

Care to explain? I've only read what's on Steam and their website. Judging from their gameplay video, it looks like it'd be a pretty neat tower defense-type game. However, it'd be good to know more about the developers and their issues.

Based on a cursory search, it seems like there were some problems with people hacking their characters and the developers forcing a wipe of all saves? Or something to that extent?

No they decided to all of sudden make their $5 game free and never refunded anyone even if they bought it the day before.

well that is your fault for buying it trollface.jpeg

That is really crummy, but game prices get reduced all the time. What difference does it make if they did it after a day, or waited a month? I bought portal 2 for 50 dollars, then a month later they reduced it by 40%.

I agree that 1 day is ridiculous, but at least it was only a 5 dollar game.

edit
As for the game recommendations...
I'd say Bioshock in preparation of it's upcoming sequel.

An unfortunate situation indeed, but they're not exactly the first people to do something like that. When I bought Prototype, it was a full priced game. About a week after I got it, it had dropped down in price rather significantly. Yet, people don't say that nobody should ever buy games made by the big companies even though they do things like that all the time.

I wouldn't mind seeing a real Dark Messiah...

But I also wouldn't mind Binding of Isaac. Really, there's all sorts of good games in the range you're looking for that tons of people would be happy with. =D

Recetear is good, possibly a little girly/cute for some though (more chances for those that want it then?)
I'd go for that companies sequel, "Chantelise"
Of course Dungeon Defenders is there, especially want for a pre-order version.

I just noticed this. You can set the price range. Lots of people want Limbo.

Fallout New Vegas, it's the most wanted game at 20$.

Personally I'd say L4D2, but I think a lot of people have that now and something else may be more appreciated.
So in that case, I'll +1 to The Binding of Isaac. It's an awesome game and quite cheap, so you could buy multiple copies and make multiple people happy :D Yay!

EDIT: Or, as Mavromatis said, take a look at the wishlist page. LIMBO seems to be the most wanted in the $0 - $20 range, and is also in the multiple copies price range.
