Suspended Users

So someone I reported just got suspended (yay) but that got me curious... When you're suspended from the site what does it look like? When you log in does it just say you're suspended? Does it tell you the reason? Can you view anything of the site at all? Forums? Your own profile?

Just a bit of curiosity.

lol why should I not report people who are breaking the rules? Are you supporting people who break rules on this site? Because I don't see any reason for you to be doing so other than breaking rules yourself.

Upon accessing SteamGifts logged in:
Oops! Looks like you are suspended for X X.
Suspending Mod + Reason
Suspending Mod + More Reasons if Any and Previous Suspensions Received

Only the suspension length page and support page are accessible when logged in. You can only submit support tickets in the "Unsuspend Request" category. Point accrual is suspended as well.

^This.I got suspended 2 weeks ago, it was a mistake and lasted 3 days but I couldn't check anywhere so it was really annoying.I realised half of my bookmarks were from Steamgifts and Steamtrades.

And your points stuck at 30 and never increase.

Oh and you can logout and check forums, at least you can read something -_-

Not sure, but AFAIK it tells you that you cannot access the site, tells you why you've been suspended and gives you only access to the Support forum. You can't access any page other than the Support forum as long as you're logged in & suspended.

Not sure about point gain, I think you don't get any P during the time you're suspended. You can't win any giveaways while you're suspended though.

A good story is like a good bowel movement: it's only really satisfying once it's ended. Because if you just keep going, then eventually your body runs out of shit and moves on to pushing all of your internal organs out of your sphincter, until only a foul-smelling shell remains, and anyone who wants to get in on your incredibly long poo gets turned off, because they need to have gone through all of the poo up to that point to have the necessary context and this is where the analogy is breaking down somewhat

You can either send the person the gift (the user can mark the item as received after the suspension elapses) or request a new winner with the suspension as the reason in the drop-down list.
