Well, the wishlist page does give you a general idea of what most people want. What did you expect the wishlist page games to be? Obscure indie games?

Obscure, but excellent games. Not only do you want to satisfy the all-consuming mob that is Steam Gifts to become their hero, but you should enlarge cult followings! Everyone already knows Skyrim is good! A million Mount and Blade: Warbands would be most welcome, or a billion Alpha Protocols.

It's probably not that accurate, but Skyrim being #1 is no coincidence.

Skyrim aside, I think any "future" game is always very welcomed here. Right now, I'd say the biggest would be Dishonored.

As for Skyrim, I'm with you, I think it's a bit overdone here. I'd like to see Dawnguard put up.

Skyrim, saints row the third, CoD (any of them), terraria, or payday: the heist. I haven't played any of these :P

I haven't seen many Arma Combined Ops giveaways but I know many people want it for the Day Z mod. Skyrim is a given.

You would need to make a significant amount of Skyrim giveaways, or just several copies. Or any pre order game in bulk for that matter. People would remember that.
