Mega Man 9, or Mega Man 10?

I've had Mega Man 10 since it came out, and I've loved it. I own all the DLC except Endless Mode and the Enker Special Stage. I finally gave up on trying to beat both Punk and Ballade, so I decided to grab Mega Man 9. I haven't really gotten that far into it yet, but it doesn't seem as good as MM10. However, MM9's soundtrack is a lot better than MM10's.

I would recommend MM10, because it has better stages, you get Protoman for free instead of as a DLC like in MM9, and Bass as a DLC character is worth the $2. The weapons are fun and more enviroment-interactive (Nitro Blade is the best example. You can RIDE UP WALLS with it.) Plus, as far as I know, only MM10 has the feature where you can switch between weapons without having to bring up the menu.

Both games are $10, and I believe both have $8 of DLC.

MM9's DLC are: Protoman ($2), Special Stage 1 ($1), Hero Mode ($1), Superhero Mode ($1), and Endless Mode ($3)

MM10's DLC are: Bass ($2), Special Stages 1, 2, and 3 ($1 each), and Endless Mode ($3)

So, for those of you who have played either/both, what are your thoughts? If you had to recommend one, which would it be and why?

I only own Mega Man 9 of those two. Mega Man 3 was always my favourite though, after getting the first three on Mega Drive as The Wily Wars. I own the collection of the NES games on Gamecube though, really should play through more than the original three someday.

Ever played Mega Man and Bass on Gameboy Advance, or any of the original Gameboy games?

Of the classic series, 10 is my favorite. Of the original 6, I think 5 is my favorite. The Wily Wars is cool becuase of the bonus stages where you can use any weapons from all 3 games. I heard the collection is okay. I would really recommend 4 and 5. Haven't played 7 or 8, but I heard 8 is terrible. And the only GBA games I've played are the Battle Network series. I own Mega Man and Mega Man II. Both are fun, I like Mega Man II more, though. Sucks that MM10 had special stages for Enker, Punk, and Ballade, but not Quint. -Sniff- Don't worry buddy, you're a Mega Man killer in my heart.

I don't even know where to start because every stage seems Beginning-friendly. But then again, with basically every Mega Man, you have no idea where to start when it's the very first time you play since every stage seems to require at least SOME special weapon.
