Tesla Effect

I really like the Tex Murphy Series and wanted to just promote them coming out on April 22nd with the Tesla Effect. It had funny dialog, good puzzles, and good cheesy acting. Just a good adventure to go through FMV style.

The oldschool term I'm more familiar with is FMV ("Full Motion Video"), that made this type of game unique. More of a sub-genre of adventure games, but not exclusive to them (see Wing Commander III & IV).
Even that Google link has "Interactive Movie" as the second hit for that query though -- they're closely related.
