They regenerate over time and the cap is set at 300p
I recommend you read this It might solve many of your questions.
And if you see a star/asterisk (* ) next to some games it means that they have been bundled and the contribution you can get from them is capped

Not a silly question, although it's one that could have been solved with a read of the FAQ (highly recommended!). If you want to understand how the site works, and avoid getting yourself into strife, you would do well to check these out.
You gain points as new giveaways are created on the site. For every giveaway someone creates, you gain a percentage (5% from memory) of the entry fee, so your points will continuously replenish.
You can't ever have more than 300 points (except temporarily, if a giveaway you entered is cancelled, and points refunded, pushing you over the 300P mark).
Hope that helps :)

I started my account by signing in with steam and I have 300 points. I seem to get my points back from giveaways that I lose but I'm not sure how I got the original 300 or how I get more (or if I even need more.) Sorry if this is a really stupid question. Thanks in advance!
