Do you like your current chair?
Yeah I bought a new computer about a year ago. And my current chair is breaking and cracking on all sides now. The budget I set is just so people can give some recommendations. I would prefer to spent less of course :)

Are those really worth the money? I have to admit, I have never sat on one but I somehow dislike the design of those.

Worth the money I don't know yet. But a nearby store of mine has them in their showroom and they sat amazing in my opinion. They had some model of AKracing.

Me neither. But I need something more durable. The seat of my current chair has totally worn of and it feals like I'm sitting on the metal frame. And 1 arm rest has already broken off.

Do you have any model recommendations? Or brands? The budget doesn't have to be used. If someone recommends a 100$ model and it's comfy then I will check that one out and maybe that one.

I use a € 40 desk chair from the local stores. It sits very nice and I can sit hours on it without it getting uncomfortable. Just check your local stores for good ones. If you spends something like 100 bucks you can get a really nice one. Most stores probably also allow you to try the chairs (at least around here they have "show models").

Thanks for the tip. Stores here (Netherlands) also have have show models. My last chair comes from a local store.
I will go look for more in the near future. I have yet to see one that is comfy and durable though.

I live in the Netherlands as well. Mine comes from the Kwantum I think (can't remember for sure). I've seen some there as well that are € 90 and are extremely comfortable.

I don't use a special gaming chair I treated myself to a massage chair, put it in front of my tv and voila the best gaming chair you can wish for. I have a nice massage while playing. Totally recommend!

I got myself this AKRacing.
I've never had any regrets over my buy at all, depending on how much I use the chair daily and compare that to what my bed costs to sleep comfortable in and how long it'll last it's not a huge ammount in the money longterm thinking.
But seriously all of those chair brands seems to all be of the same quality/parts it's just different tournaments etc you see certain brands sponsor.
With that said no need to go for one in the higher priceclass, think DXRacing got some around ~150€ something, good luck! :)

When you buy from AKracing. Are the cushions included or do you need to buy them seperate?

Oh, I actually didn't buy mine directly from them but from a retailer online here in Sweden.. Sorry for makin it confusing, i've never heard or seen anyone that bought a chair without cushions so I would just take for granted that they are included, judging by the pictures.
But if you are still unsure, just pass them an email and im sure you'll get an answer pretty fast :]

I'd love a better chair but my budget doesn't allow it, so I just got a mid-range one and modified it somewhat (bought replacement metal wheels and base to replace the easily broken plastic ones that came with it, worked out about £50 cheaper than buying a similar chair with those parts would have)
I'd definitely recommend visiting an office supplier or something before considering purchasing online, some look comfortable when you see the pictures but turn out to be better suited to a medieval torture chamber

Yeah I'd like to check it out first to. A local store of mine has different AKracing models that I'd checked. I will only buy online if it is cheaper then a local store. Or there are a lot of good/trustworthy reviews online.

So after I did my first giveaway yesterday I thought it was time to start my first discussion.
