This is what I imagine those poor German Steam users waking up to every morning...

actually it's not that bad, just every second flash sale or something.

oh well, some of us help ourselves^^ it really helps me being half us-american with funny relatives in the us. so censorship is not really an issue to me.
Other people use proxies, and others again ask for help in forums. mostly if we really want something, we find a way to get it :)

Oh sorry, I didn't realize people might find these threads unnecessary. I just haven't seen a thread considering this particular issue yet, and personally I enjoy seeing threads about all these weird screw-ups. They always give me a good laugh :D

It's happened to me a couple of times during the Christmas sale, and I've seen it happen before.
I've seen some other stuff during this sale, though. Earlier today, I went to the store page, and the Community Vote and Community Deal both had expiration timers of 0:00:00. Except it wasn't time for them to expire. The page also showed me the upcoming Flash deals, the ones that had not officially cycled in yet. Reloading fixed all the timers and displayed the (then) currently active Flash deals. I came back later and verified that it had also shown me the correct "future" Flash deals.
At another point, I visited the store and the bottom 3 Flash deals had a timer saying that they expired in 8 days, and it was showing their normal discount percentages, not their Flash deal discounts. Clicking through one showed the actual game pages were correct. (For example, front page showed Giana Sisters as a Flash deal 40% that expired in 8 days, but clicking through showed Giana Sisters had the proper 66% Flash deal price. Reloading the main page fixed its display, giving the games the right timers and proper Flash deal percentages.

Steam is really drunk again. I just visited the store page and this is what I saw. This has been happening to me quite often, but a quick refreshing of the page usually solves the problem.
Steam seriously, go home, you're too drunk. I know it's holiday time but you should take it a bit easier with the drinking. ( ^ w ◕)
