Mirror's Edge for $4.99 on Amazon DD...

So this morning I found out about this: http://www.amazon.com/Electronic-Arts-40469Mirrors-Edge-Download/dp/B0047O2Q02/
I got tempted and got it without looking back. But looking back would have actually helped me since this game is NOT REDEEMABLE ON STEAM :(
If anything, I got a downloadable version with a product key for it, but one that cannot be input in Steam. :/
It's kind of strange that this one is one is not redeemable while other like Stacking and Lara Croft GOI are, but meh :/

Just thought I should warn some people, even though some might have more senses than me and actually read the description before doing anything :/

I don't feel attracted by Origin, having my back log at Steam, and I'm not gonna go just because I have a usable key for that.
I wonder if I can gift this somehow :?

Not to be like a huge "gimme gimme" person. But I use Origin quiet a bit for Battlefield 3, Kingdoms of Amalur and quiet a few other EA games. (I have 13 games on Origin actually.) So if you were looking to off hand that I would take it and actually play it, I have been looking at the game for quiet a while now it just isn't something I "want to buy" as something much more interesting to me comes up.

But I suggest you just activate and play it (it must be a game you wanted, or you wouldn't have bought it.) the game looks fun and Origin is not THAT bad, sure it sucks, and its shitty EA. But it's much nicer (for me at least) then hunting for all of my CD's.

Yeah I actually wanted it, on Steam :/
I completed it when a friend lent me his 360 version, but I couldn't play more...so i wanted it on Steam to have a good and controlled log of my PC games, but whatever. Anyway, you can have it, if you do use Origin :)

Unless it says that the game requires Steam, you should assume that it doesn't activate on Steam.

Most EA games sold through Amazon aren't redeemable on Steam. They are/were redeemable on EA Store aka rebrand name called Origin. So that's another warning.
