A Clash of Kings but this isn't on workshop as far as I know.

Clash of kings, or so I've heard.

I've always been fond of Native Expansion. It basically just added a bunch of mechanics to vanilla and rebalanced some skills and troop types. It also added an invading army and a permanent injury system [neither of which I used]. Unfortunately it hasn't been updated in bordering on 2 years I think, but every time I play, it ends up with that mod.

This one is really good you can cast spells or become necromancer

Prophesy of Pendor

there is a mod for normal mount and blade not warband and its called star wars conquest. That was the most awesome mod that I played for mount and blade series.

Gekokujo (Japan)
Prophesy of Pendor (Fantasy, really changing a lot of the game aspects, much harder, but awesome)
Brytenwalda (early Britain)
Warsword Conquest (Warhammer Fantasy)
Blood in the West (Lord of the rings)

Most of those mods contain other mods like Diplomacy or Floris Mod pack
