Just as a cautionary tail.
This morning I attempted to purchase a game on special offer from Gamefly, but the site was playing up and no accepting Paypal.
I raised a ticket and got an email in return that they were investigating. Including the line...
'**Please note that your purchase is on hold and you have not been charged. Your order will be processed once we verify with the cardholder. Any sale price will still be honored unless your order is cancelled.'
After a little investigation they said it may take some time, and maybe to use a credit card. Which for this once I decide to (it was a good offer).
When I attempted, the price had gone back up to normal, and now Gamefly won't honour the promise in the email.
