Steam Sales are destroying my life

Long story short I got a new job that's given me a nice influx of cash. Building my dream rig just in time for the summer sale. Hefty Summer sale purchases + Newegg Purchases * Easily frightened credit union = All my credit cards blocked. Steam summer camp has been invaded by Credit card blocking camp.

That stinks. Hopefully you can contact the credit card company and get things straightened out. If you verify that you made, or are making, all these purchases, they should be able to restore things to normal. Something I read here before the sale started that you might want to consider is putting money into your Steam Wallet and making your purchases from there. I think the idea is to avoid making a lot of small charges by making one bigger charge to fill your wallet, then paying small amounts from there. I don't really know for sure if it will help, but it might. Good luck!

Just use Prepaids to add money to your Steam wallet, or go to a gamestop and buy a steam wallet code.
