well to add to it I hide anything below ~60% instantly. (in terms of rating) and then go though and hide everything else.

Anime
Visual Novel
Hidden Object
VR only
Racing only
CooP focused or CooP only, without online CooP (Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons)
And I don't like Platformer(s) nor puzzle focused Point and Click(s), but sometimes I give them a try, and usually I get disappointed.

VR, (most) Simulator, Manager, anything with a banner along the lines of "1 bazillion achievements that you will get inside of 2 minutes."

This is slightly amusing, considering most of your most played games include one or more of these tags. :D

To be fair calling Forge of the Gods an RPG (in the classical sense) is kind of a stretch. It's like saying I hate shooters just because The Slaughtering Grounds sucks.

Trust me, when I'm trying to mock somebody I'm a lot less subtle than that. Actually I basically agree with you because playing CityVille for 18 months (after an old school buddy invited me and I didn't wanna be rude) made me hate Freemium games a lot more than if I had never tried them.

anyways I shouldn't even have to explain anything.
And you don't. I was just bashing Forge of Gods as F2P Facebook timesink and trying to say that you shouldn't judge a whole genre based on this games. What I ment with real RPGs are stuff like Skyrim, Witcher, DragonAge... I wasn't judging your taste in games. Heck, I recently found out after picking it up for 10 cent for my smartphone that I enjoy Farming Simulator, one of the most frowned upon genres in all of gaming, quite a lot. Sorry if it came off hostile ;)

I won it so I play what I win :P Try them out.
That's the spirit ;)
For a moment I was confused why you brought up SoulCraft because at a brief glance I don't see much connection to Freemium games (actually looks like a rather polished action RPG) but you probably wanted to point out that you're not juding RPGs solely based on Forge of Gods I assume.

I was merely trying to say that Forge of Gods is a rather atypical RPG. When most people people think of RPGs they think decisions, story rich and active combat but there are so many subgenres of RPGs and games that borrow elements from RPGs, who am I to judge what counts as an RPG and what does not...

early access
battle royale
visual novel
I'd like to block anything containing rape, but that word is censored in tags, because apparently the word is more offensive than the content.

I don't hide GAs because I only use the Whishlist tab of SteamGifts but if I did Hidden object games and Clicker games would be the first thing I'd hide. Probably more but those are the first things that come to mind.

VR
I'm still using a GTX 750ti, so anything like that will have to wait (a good long time) until I upgrade my PC.

I only enter wishlisted games. Plus, I'd never hide any game. I am someone who is open to all genres, I used to be this very restrictive person who wouldn't play blah blah tag. Yet, the more I experience and the more I mature in my tastes... The more I'm open to all games. People who judge a game based on a tag could miss out so much.
For example: A game called Steins;Gate is such a massive game to exclude yourself from. Its a sci-fi time traveling adventure about a self-proclaimed mad scientist who recruits this group of people who just don't fit into society. Together they discover time travel and how they experiment with the concept of cause and effect is featured prominently in the game as the protagonist travels back in time numerous times to perform different actions in an attempt to alter what has happened in the future. The plot is so complex and has scientific equations to explain how it works etc. So, when someone says they enjoy sci-fi, complex story lines, political themes, moral choices, and something that your choices actually matter there is a flow chart of all of the routes and its massive and differs completely from a parallel route but they won't ever get to play it cause they hid the anime or VN tag... its your loss really.
I never thought I'd play a CRPG or ARPG etc... However, in my top list of favourite games I would put Divinity and Grim Dawn in it... So, if I hid those... I'd miss out on two of my favourite games. Hiding genres is stupid, sort of like saying I hate all Scottish people yet... Here I am as loveable as can be ;)
