I've made this giveaway earlier and posted about it in the discussion about the kickstarter itself. Now that the deadline is getting close and the kickstarter page has been overhauled it is time to bring it back to your attention.

Takedown is going to be a hardcore tactical shooter. Pledgers that have pledged $15+ get a PC DRM-free version of the game upon release (and if it is available on Steam, a key for the Steam version as well IIRC) or a download of the console version upon release and with your copy of the game you get access to the PC alpha builds of the game. At $75+ you get a physical copy of the game as well as a t-shirt and at $125+ you get a collectors edition instead of the normal copy, which includes for example dogtags.

The PC platform has been confirmed, Linux and Mac OS support depends on the engine used. It will likely reach the X360 and PS3 as well, after the PC version has been released.

This is a game unlike Call of Duty, Battlefield or any other recent shooter out there: You can't run into the action, empty your gun and expect to survive. The game will reward the players with good tactics and teamwork, as you can and will be one-shotted. If your team member goes down, he will be dead and gone forever and you will have to compensate for that.

You can only win if you have pledged to the project. Since the giveaway ends AFTER the kickstarter deadline (and no, the deadline won't be extended) there is no point into entering the giveaway if you aren't planning on pledging and haven't done so yet.
