You must have a NTFS file system

Fat32 can't download the game

Fat32 is common in the early days of windows XP.

The drive you're installing it to must be ntfs and not fat32. Because it wont install if its over a certain size and fat32 limits how big a file can be or some shit like that.

it depends ;P it's not about your hardware HDD, but about a format exact partition is formatted to ;) You can have partitions formated to both NTFS and FAT32 ;)

Time to ditch ol' FATty.

If you are rocking Windows 98, you will need 3rd party software, and the patience of a school teacher to get this working...

Do they even offer drivers for GPU that can run Witcher 2 on 98?

This is the area where the user's patience is going to be most sorely tested...

That said, according to Amazon, the original Witcher will still run on '95 and Windows ME (the OS of CHAMPIONS)...

every Microsoft OS (for home users) since Windows 2000 has used NTFS by default, so chances are it's not of concern

Another reason it might be specifically mentioned for Witcher 2 is in case you're on an older Mac system using HFS, since Witcher 2 is Mac compatible (then again, they cover that with the minimum Mac OS requirements already).
