90% of us have heard of Steamgifts from someone or the other, and come to have a look, only to have our accounts rejected due to the entry value of 100$ required. The site takes the day you first try to enter as your cake day. However, I only joined SG around 2 months later, after I... well, that's a story I must share another day. Heehee

So, with exactly one month to go before my supposed cake day, I wish to know what you folks think.

Do you consider the date you signed up for the site as your cake day? Or do you consider when you ACTUALLY joined SG as your cake day?

AND before you guys decide to educate me, I AM aware that the site puts a giant cake symbol (which for some reason I can't paste here) after your name when it thinks its your cake day. I'm simply curious about the mentality of most people who celebrate cake days here.

And yes, there are gibs of course. Why would there not be gibs when there can be gibs?

Which date do you consider your cake day to be at?

The date the site THINKS it is
The date you actually joined

I remember the day I joined. So there's no discrepancy here.

My Steam library was large enough when I signed up, so my cake day is the real one. Less than two months away :D

Mine's exactly a month from now, and the join date exactly 2 months after that. I don't wanna do two cake day events... :(

The day I signed up was the day I actually joined. :)

I heard about SG many years (= many sales) later than I started to use Steam, so the "first attempt" and the "joined" dates are the same for me.
Congratulations and thank you, btw :-)
